All damage increased 3% in PvP combat. - **Paladin ** - ** Protection** - *Developers’ notes: Templars’ burst capabilities have made Protection Paladin more of an offensive threat than we would like them to be in PvP.* - Divine Exaction now casts Divine Toll again at 25% effectiveness (was 75%) in PvP combat. - Hammer of Light damage decreased by 30% in PvP combat. - **Retribution** - *Developers’ notes: Retribution has been performing better than expected, so we are applying a small damage reduction.* - All ability damage reduced by 3% in PvP combat. - **Priest ** - ** Discipline** - *Developers’ notes: Voidweaver Priests are dealing too much damage in PvP. We’re reducing some of that damage and increasing their healing to compensate.* - Expiation deals damage equal to 200% of the of the amount consumed from Shadow Word: Pain in PvP combat (was 300%). - Inescapable Torment damage reduced by 25% in PvP combat. - Shadow Word: Pain damage reduced by 10% in PvP combat. - Voidweaver: Atonement healing increased by 15%. - Oracle: Preventive Measures increases damage of Penance, Smite, Holy Nova by 20% (was 15%). - Ultimate Penitence healing increased by 25%. - **Shadow** - *Developers’ notes: In addition to a needed boost of overall damage, Shadow Word: Death is also receiving a buff intended to make its damage worthwhile when striking enemies in its low-health threshold.* - All ability damage increased by 4% in PvP combat. - Shadow Word: Death damage increased by 45% in PvP combat. - **Shaman ** - ** Restoration** - *Developers’ notes: Farseer Restoration Shaman has been behind in performance in PvP compared to Totemic, we’re increasing the throughput of heals and effects provided by Farseer talents and their Ancestors to help close the gap.* - Farseer: Maelstrom Supremacy increases healing of affected spells in PvP by 20% (was 15%). - Farseer: Hydrobubble’s effectiveness is no longer reduced in PvP (was a 20% reduction). - Farseer: Heals cast by Call of the Ancestors increased in PvP by 30% (was 20%). - **Warrior ** - ** Arms, Protection** - *Developers’ notes: We’re slightly reducing Colossus’ ability to tank damage to make them more of a viable kill target.* - Mountain of Muscle and Scars reduces damage taken by 3% in PvP combat (was 5%). - **Warlock ** - ** Affliction ** - All damage increased by 3% in PvP combat. - Consuming Nightfall with Seed of Corruption on a target already afflicted with Seed of Corruption will cause the preexisting Seed of Corruption to detonate. - ** Demonology** - *Developers’ notes: Demonology damage while freecasting has not been as effective as we would like, so we’re targeting a few adjustments to Shadow Bolt and Demonbolt with the intention of increasing their ability to punish enemies for allowing them to chain casts together.* - Shadow Bolt damage increased by 200% in PvP combat. - Demonbolt damage increased by 30% in PvP combat. - **Destruction ** - Incinerate damage increased by 50% in PvP combat. ** Dungeons and Raids ** - ** Darkheart Thicket ** - Players must now defeat Dresaron to complete the dungeon on Timewalking difficulty. ** Naigtal ** - Players can no longer be attacked while on Transport Skiffs in Naigtal. ** June 25, 2026 ** ** Delves ** - When tank Valeera is accompanied by a healer, she now takes significantly less damage, scaling from 45% less damage at Tier 1 to 29% less damage at Tier 11. ** Dungeons and Raids ** - ** Sporefall ** - Resolved an issue causing players to be able to interact with the door to Funggor Hollow. ** Naigtal ** - Players will no longer lose their "Lighthook Grapple" ability when they log out of Naigtal. ** Omnium Folio ** - Starting with Week 2, the weekly Seeking Knowledge quest prerequisites are now account-wide. Quality-of-Life Improvements Coming in Curse of Ula'tek

## Quality-of-Life Improvements Already Live Several updates tied to this effort have already gone live through 12.0.5 hotfixes and the Midnight: Revelations content update, addressing prominent bugs, progression blockers, and rough edges across everyday play. - **Improved Silvermoon City performance: ** Back-end changes have enabled Silvermoon City shards to support more concurrent players at once, helping the area feel more bustling and vibrant without impacting performance. Thresholds were increased to help the area feel vibrant and populated, but also more stable during busy times. - ** Faster activity progress: ** Prey progress rates were increased at lower ranks to make it easier to unlock the related story quests and Nightmare mode. - ** Looting fixes: ** We have tracked down and fixed a sneaky bug that could cause area looting and auto-loot to sometimes fail. Please let us know if you continue to encounter this behavior. - ** More rewarding weekly activities: ** Weekly quests, Delver’s Call, and dungeon quests now grant increased experience. - ** Reduced repair costs: ** Combat events such as swinging a weapon or blocking with a shield no longer cause “wear and tear” durability loss to armor and weapons. ## What to Expect in Curse of Ula'tek The next set of quality-of-life updates focuses on clearer objectives, smoother progression, easier account and interface management, and fixes for visible bugs. ** Developer’s note: ** Curse of Ula'tek has a particular focus on identifying and addressing several quality-of-life updates across World of Warcraft. As testing continues on the PTR, more features and fixes may be added to this section. ### Progression, Convenience, and Reward Clarity - In Curse of Ula’tek, we will be adding a one-time profession knowledge reset (once per profession) to reset all spent Knowledge Points and allow players to re-assign them freely. - We are reducing the cost of most Midnight crafted Housing decor so players have more flexibility to build the home they want. - Future Voidforge services in Season 2 will be made available in Silvermoon City, so players can access it from a more central location. ### User Interface Improvements - Adding the option to display map coordinates in the user interface. - Adding account-wide auto-loot settings to make it easier to keep preferred setup options consistent across characters. ** Developer Note:** we are starting this effort with auto-loot but will look at more account-wide UI settings in the future. - Auction House filters will persist after closing and reopening the window, helping players get to their previous searches quicker. - Adding collapsable groups to the currency tab to better view available currencies at a glance. - Adding a back button to the Achievements tab in the user interface. - Adding the ‘Loss of Control’ panel to UI Edit Mode. ### Notable Bug Fixes In addition to many other fixes coming in Curse of Ula’tek, we wanted to call out a few notable issues which we have targeted to fix as part of this quality-of-life effort, because they have been persistent for some time and/or have come up often through player feedback. This list is not exhaustive, but these fixes represent areas where targeted changes should make everyday activities feel smoother and more reliable. - We have identified a number of recurring patterns that could cause players to become stuck in outdoor world combat far longer than expected. This will not address all of these situations, but it should be far less common in Curse of Ula’tek. - We have resolved a bug causing transmogrified gear to sometimes be incorrectly displayed on the character select screen. - A rare bug where Valeera would sometimes suddenly die in Delves has been fixed. - Addressed a bug where players would occasionally be dismounted when flying into Zul’Aman from Eversong Woods. ## Improving the Player Experience Quality-of-life improvements often come down to the details. In Curse of Ula'tek and beyond, we’ll continue looking for ways to make World of Warcraft easier to navigate and more enjoyable to play. We deeply appreciate all of your feedback on ways we can improve the World of Warcraft player experience and will continue to make efforts to address these improvement opportunities as they arise. Player feedback helps guide where these updates can have the most impact. Look for more details in the [Curse of Ula'tek update notes](https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/midnight-curse-of-ulatek-ptr-development-notes/) as the test progresses.

Soar Through Turbulent Timeways—Now Live!

## Time to Buff Up Those who run any Timewalking dungeon during the event get the “Knowledge of the Timeways” buff, granting a 5% increase to experience when killing monsters and completing quests. Completing Timewalking dungeons increases the effect and extends its duration. This is a stacking buff, and after four applications, it transforms into “Mastery of the Timeways,” increasing the experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests to 30%, and persists through death. ## Master the Timeways for a New Mount This season, players can earn the **Spawn of Vyranoth ** flying mount by completing the “Master of the Turbulent Timeways V” achievement, awarded to champions who maintain “Mastery of the Timeways” for any ***four***weeks during the event. ![Patch notes image](https://bnetcmsus-a.akamaihd.net/cms/content_entry_media/FXF3XG2HSFRL1777415624005.png) *“Vyranoth's brood was decimated by the aspects, yet her actions have brought many of her surviving progeny to follow in her frigid path and aid in Azeroth's defense.”* ## Don’t Let Time Pass You By Timewalking dungeons have a chance to drop items that usually drop when you run them on Heroic, and you'll earn Reputation with a faction associated with the dungeon. Enemies and loot will automatically scale to your level. While Timewalking is active, you will gain a 50% bonus to reputations earned from quests and creature kills for all reputations related to the corresponding expansion. To get to any one of the dungeons, open the Group Finder (default hotkey: “I”) and then select Dungeon Finder and Timewalking in the “Type” dropdown menu. Selecting “Find Group” will match you with other players and send you to one of the available Heroic Dungeons. Bilgewater X-TREME ** ** Mount** *"The engineers of Undermine were so preoccupied with whether or not they COULD make a faster rocket, they didn't stop to think if they should."* Complete activities to fill the bar at the top of the **Traveler’s Log** found in the ** Adventure Guide (Shift-J)*** **, and you'll receive this month's bonus reward—the [Bilgewater X-TREME ](https://www.wowhead.com/item=273651/bilgewater-x-treme-firework-rocket?brl) mount. Strap in and rocket away on a bold new ride built to leave a brilliant blue streak across your adventures.**## How it Works** **### Get Tender Every Month** At the beginning of each month, players with an active account in good standing will receive 500 Trader’s Tender automatically every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache. If you don’t have active game time on your account or aren’t a subscriber at the start of a new month, don’t worry. Your Tender will be awarded on the first day of the month when you do have game time or an active subscription. This will be the same amount for everyone, regardless of how you pay for your game time. **### The Traveler's Log** Complete monthly activities listed in the new Traveler’s Log. Each month features a rotating, themed set of activities. These activities provide the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender. There’s only a set amount of Tender you can earn each month through completing activities, so you won’t need to complete all the ones in the log each month. You’ll be able to pick and choose from a variety of fun in-game activities to easily earn Tender. Players can choose to earn by continuing to play the game as they already do, such as completing quests, competing in battlegrounds, participating in holiday activities, and even running Mythic+ dungeons. But you can also choose to take part in activities uniquely designed for the month. **### Freeze an Item** Before the month comes to an end, if you haven’t purchased that one “must-have” item yet, don’t worry. You can “freeze” an item so you can purchase it later. When you freeze an item, it will stay available month over month until it is purchased or replaced. If this month’s offerings didn’t have the items you wanted, you can hang on to your Trader’s Tender to spend later. It won’t go anywhere, and unspent Tender will continue to accumulate each month. Learn more about the Trading Post from the [news post](https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/news/24131507/) on the official site.**The Trading Post feature is not available in WoW Classic titles.* ***Requires World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time* ****Requires Level 10 to access the Adventure Guide.*

Run, Leap, and Spread Cheer—the Darkspear Dash is Here!

## Find the Festivities and Follow the Rainbow Accepting the quest "Doing the Dash" from a Holiday Enthusiast in any capital city will lead you to festivities and straight into the splash, sparkle, and booming beach party on the tropical shores of the Echo Isles. [ ![Patch notes image](https://bnetcmsus-a.akamaihd.net/cms/content_entry_media/vc/VCLGDMRG3NV91780448265598.png) ](https://bnetcmsus-a.akamaihd.net/cms/content_entry_media/vc/VCLGDMRG3NV91780448265598.png) From the Echo Isles, it’s full speed ahead through Durotar, Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands, Eversong Woods, and Silvermoon City as rainbow-revelers race across continents in a burst of color and chaos, ending in an extravagant pool party within the city’s grand fountain. Passing each gate has the possibility of granting the “Ready to Roll” buff to fleet-footed runners, allowing them to leap into the air and help increase the movement speed of nearby allies. Along the way, players can and should drink from the Horn of Mojo at water stations to become Hydrated (and faster on their feet). ## A Burst of Brilliant Rewards Completing the “Darkspear Dash” quest rewards the new **Troll Scroll of Rainbow Roll ** toy, allowing you to leap through the air in colorful style. You’ll be a racing rainbow as you roll like a troll with this toy! You’ll also get a 24-Hour buff that grants a 30% increase to outdoor movement speed and a colorful rainbow that trails behind you, and the “Darkspear Dasher” temporary title to let everyone know that you ran with the rainbow during the Darkspear Dash. Colorful new items are available during the dashing festivities, and Naz'do and Taz'do also sell temporary celebration items for 10 gold each. Bonus: Many rainbow-themed toys will have their cooldowns greatly reduced during the Darkspear Dash. - ** Darkspear Dash Tabard **: Available for 30 gold from Naz’do in the Echo Isles or Taz’do in Silvermoon City. - ** Pocket Rainbow **: Imbue the target with rainbow power! - ** Pocket Sand **: Be a revelry buzzkill and disorient your target for 3 seconds. - ** Rainbow Runners **: Put some color in your step! You can also complete some Trading Post activities throughout the dash: - ** Darkspear Dash: Participate in the Darkspear Dash ** - Complete the “Darkspear Dash” quest. - ** Rewards **: 100 Travel Log Points - ** Darkspear Dash: Complete the Dash as a low-level Troll in Style ** - Join the footrace at Echo Isles in Durotar as a level 1-15 Darkspear or Zandalari troll while wearing the Darkspear Dash Tabard. - ** Rewards**: 100 Travel Log Points We look forward to seeing you dash, leap, and celebrate with the Darkspear during this festive (and colorful) holiday—taz'dingo!
