One Day to Go - Early Access Preview, First Look at Xol Gameplay & More

ZeroSpace launches in Early Access on Steam tomorrow, July 20. One day remains until you can step into the Orion Sector, take an early look at Act 1 of the story-driven campaign as Prefect Aster, test every multiplayer mode, and provide critical feedback to help shape the game on the road to 1.0.
What’s Available Tomorrow
When Early Access goes live you will have access to a variety of game modes (still in development) ready to explore:
- Act 1 of the campaign - 12 missions in which you take command as Prefect Aster of The Protectorate and make decisions that will influence his role in the Galaxy.
- 10 Co-op missions in Galactic War - a seasonal, persistent multiplayer game mode where warring factions fight for dominance in the Orion Sector.
- Survival mode - Bring a friend and see how long you can last against endless waves of Grell.
- Ranked versus (1v1 and 2v2).
- Full skirmish mode supporting 1v1, 2v2, and free-for-all against friends or AI opponents.
Four main factions are ready for you to experiment with, submit feedback, and master: The Protectorate, the symbiotic Grell, the fanatical Legion, and — available for the first time — the Xol, a mysterious synthetic civilization of self-evolving machines. Expand your army composition by choosing one of our six mercenary factions to complement your main force. The Xol are still early in development and will enter ranked matchmaking after further community balance testing.
At launch, ZeroSpace will support English, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish (Latin America and Spain), Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian.
ZeroSpace will launch on Steam at 10AM PT/ 1PM ET for $35.99 USD (including a 10% launch discount from the regular price of $39.99, running through August 3).
Pricing will vary based on your region, so make sure to check Steam for an accurate number.

Galactic War: Season Zero

Early Access also marks the debut of Galactic War: Season Zero, running from July 20 through August 2.
You will choose to join one of three alliances led by RTS creators Winter, Neo, or uThermal, and help your side fight for control of the Orion Sector. Every Co-op match you play advances your alliance’s influence, capturing planets and expanding territory across the galactic map. At the end of the season, the alliance with the highest score crowns its creator as the first Galactic Emperor.
Along the way, you can participate and unlock exclusive portraits and titles. The winning alliance will also help decide the global reward given to every participant and the theme of a future Galactic War season. If you like creating video clips of your favorite games (such as with Medal.tv), you can join the community clip contest and win cash prizes for submitting one of the top submissions featuring one of the creators.
Pick your side, rally your teammates, and help write the opening chapter of the ongoing Galactic War.
ZeroSpace: First Contact Invitational

To celebrate our Early Access launch, twelve legendary RTS veterans are going to compete in the First Contact Invitational for a combined $13,000 prize pool.
The competitors are:
Harstem, MaNa, GiantGrantGames, Nathanias, PiG, MarineLorD, TheViper, Lowko, JimRising, UpATree, White-Ra, and JuggernautJason.
From July 20 through August 8, they will race up the ranked ladder. A dedicated invitational leaderboard ranks them against one another, with ladder placement awarding both seeding in a final tournament and cash prizes.
The final tournament will take place Sunday, August 9 at 6:00 PM CEST / 9:00 AM PDT, broadcast live on Wardis’ stream.
Format: 12-player Swiss stage (best-of-2), top four advancing to a playoff bracket with best-of-3 semi-finals and a best-of-5 grand final.
Many of the invitees will stream their ladder games. Join the ladder yourself, follow their streams, and submit your best clips for the community contest.
