Weekend Chase #2: Solo and Squad Leaderboards, Every 4 Hours

How the weekend works

Weekend Chase #2 runs from Friday, August 7 to Monday, August 10, 2026, 12:00 UTC to 12:00 UTC, the full weekend split into eighteen 4-hour time windows. Each window opens two fresh leaderboards, one for solo battles and one for squad battles, so solo players are only ever racing other solo players. Only PvP Quick Match battles count.

Every leaderboard ranks players by wins, with total damage dealt breaking ties. Finish in the Top 25 of either leaderboard and you earn the reward for that placement. If you finish Top 25 on both the solo and squad leaderboard in the same window, you still earn a single reward set, not two.

Placing in a Top 25 once retires you from every later leaderboard, solo and squad both, for the rest of the event, so a fresh field competes for each new window. That is deliberate: it spreads placements across more players over the course of the full weekend rather than letting the same names repeat throughout.

Two ladders, eighteen chances

Solo and squad are never mixed. Every 4-hour window has its own Top 25 for each, so a coordinated squad and a lone player are chasing separate leaderboards, not competing against each other. Across the full weekend that is eighteen solo leaderboards and eighteen squad leaderboards, thirty-six separate races in total.

What you can earn

Play 10 battles: three boosters

Play 10 battles in PvP Quick Match anytime across the weekend, solo or squad both count toward the 10, and you earn three boosters. That reward is open to everyone, including Wargaming staff. The three boosters are granted as soon as you reach 10 battles, while the event is still running.

Finish Top 25: the Desert Tan paint

Finish in the Top 25 of any solo or squad leaderboard and you earn the Desert Tan paint for all three starter tanks: the M1E1 Abrams, the XM1 90, and the Leo 1A6A1. Every Top 25 finisher gets the same set. The Desert Tan paints are granted after the event ends, once every leaderboard has closed.

Play in a squad at any point during the event and earn +100% bonus XP, up from the usual +15%, on both Agent XP and Vehicle XP. It runs for the full weekend and stacks with everything else you earn, including battle rewards and event placements.
