v0.5.9.2187 Hotfix | Fixed Mac Connection Failures & Stuck Crab Houses
Hello everyone! This Hotfix prioritizes several issues that could directly block gameplay, including some Mac players being unable to join multiplayer rooms, Crab Houses becoming unusable after getting stuck in tight terrain, and Hot Spring Cooking Pots malfunctioning after crafting was canceled.
We have also added a crafting recipe for Small Health Flasks and introduced renewable sources for several rare items.
Main Fixes
- Fixed an issue on Mac where a LAN connection attempt could become stuck when joining a multiplayer room, preventing the connection from completing.
- Improved Crab House position handling in tight terrain. If a Crab House is in an unusable position, it will attempt to move to a nearby safe location. If there is no suitable space nearby when getting off, the message “You can’t get off here” will appear.
- Fixed issues in some older saves where canceling crafting at a Hot Spring Cooking Pot could cause an error or prevent the next crafting process from starting.

Content and Acquisition Adjustments
- Added a Small Health Flask recipe to the Potion Workstation: 3 Cranberries and 2 Farseeing Blueberries can now be used to craft 1 Small Health Flask.
We hope this provides players with another reliable healing option after unlocking the Potion Workstation but before setting out for the desert. Since several other healing options are usually available by this stage, the recipe retains a meaningful material cost so that it does not replace other healing methods too early. We will continue monitoring how this recipe affects the overall experience.
- Based on your feedback about several rare items being difficult to obtain repeatedly, we have added the following renewable sources:
- The Stonefeather Tyrant now drops the Rolling Band. Rock Monsters also have a small chance to drop the Rolling Band.
- Star-marked Big Blackbirds now have a chance to drop the Broken Axe.
- Sand Wyverns now have a chance to drop Celosia Seeds.
Other Fixes and Description Improvements
- Fixed an issue where NPC buildings accidentally placed inside separate areas could not be retrieved.
- Fixed an issue where some Passages in the forest did not display a completion checkmark correctly.
- Fixed an issue where Zipline Hooks could not be dismantled.
- Fixed an issue where Ground Lamps could not be crafted.
- Improved the quest description and map guidance for “Forest Overlord,” reducing confusion caused by the map guidance not updating promptly after speaking with Saru.
- Improved the highlighting rules for quest locations to prevent two locations from being highlighted at the same time and making the objective unclear.
- Improved the status text for minimap markers. Locations that cannot be unlocked will no longer display “Locked.”
- Clarified the descriptions of shields and perfect blocks, including the conditions required to trigger a perfect block. We are also discussing further improvements to shield mechanics based on your feedback.

We are still reviewing a large volume of community feedback. Although we cannot resolve every issue in a single update, we read and take your suggestions and criticism seriously.
Thank you for your love for the game—and for all your suggestions, criticism, and patience. We will keep improving!
