v0.5.16.2229 Hotfix | Ghost Lights Teleport with You & More Improvements

Wonderia

Hello everyone! This Hotfix fixes an achievement that could remain locked after completing all three Host challenges. We’ve also improved Ghost Light following, respawning, A.O.I.’s shop, and Museum donations, while attempting to address startup black screens and controllers that would not stop vibrating.

Achievements and Collection

  • Fixed an issue where the related achievement could remain locked after completing all three Host challenges.
  • Players using older saves do not need to repeat the challenges. First, confirm that all three Passages have completion checkmarks. Then, during the same game session, enter each Passage and speak with its Host. Do not exit the game during this process. The achievement should unlock after all three conversations.
  • Fixed the related achievement not unlocking after driving the Crab House. After updating, drive it once to trigger the achievement again.
  • Fixed being unable to correctly select multiple items when donating to the Museum.
  • Added missing boulder sources to the acquisition information for some minerals and materials.

General Improvements and Balance

  • Fixed Ghost Lights sometimes disappearing or stopping their follow after re-entering the game, playing multiplayer, or moving between areas. Ghost Lights now remember the correct player and continue following after teleporting.

  • Following yesterday’s fix to A.O.I.’s shop, two more shelves have been added to A.O.I.’s Greenhouse, making more seeds available for purchase.

  • Food sell prices are now displayed in the Cooking and crafting interfaces.
  • Reduced the Spirit cost of the Mousey-Mouse Transformer from 8 to 1, making it easier to use when harvesting crops.
  • Fixed the Particle Sword’s actual attack range being smaller than its visual effect.
  • Fixed Sandstone Piles dropping the wrong item. They now correctly drop Sandy Blocks.

Stability Improvements

  • Fixed players sometimes appearing in a dark area of Marvin’s RV after dying, exiting, and re-entering the game.
  • Fixed some plants not undergoing their intended special change after fully growing.
  • Attempted to fix a black screen affecting some Windows players at startup. The Windows version now uses borderless fullscreen instead of exclusive fullscreen to improve startup compatibility.
  • Attempted to fix controller vibration sometimes continuing without stopping.
  • Attempted to fix errors that could occur when certain status effects were applied to monsters.

Controls and Fixes

  • Hooks can now change direction while charging, with related animation issues also fixed.
  • Fixed floors around Portals being impossible to remove, as well as Portal display-layer issues.
  • Improved the Passive Food Drain label in several languages to make the setting clearer.
  • Hidden a temporary Crab House form that should not have appeared in the Handbook.

Plans Currently Under Discussion

The following plans are not included in this update, and their final implementation is still being discussed:

  • World customization options related to combat difficulty, including monster damage and HP.
  • Ways to prevent multiplayer hosts from missing important rewards such as comics, and how Skills should be shared among players.
