IT'S A SKILL ISSUE. ON PURPOSE.

Hi, good morning everybody - today I woke up and scanned the negative reviews, and 70% of them basically sum down to: "we died before we understood anything" and "the board is too hard to use".
So, yeah. That's the game. You're dead, you can't talk, and the only thing between your friends and the thing hunting them is a ouija board and your group's ability to actually understand each other. The first night is a disaster for everyone, that's literally the point. This is a communication game with a horror theme.
Think of it like Dark Souls. The board isn't fighting you - the difficulty is the game. A planchette that glides politely and instantly to every letter wouldn't be a séance, it would be a keyboard.
The moment your group invents its own code-word mid-hunt is the entire reason this game exists, and no tutorial can hand you that. It has to be earned.
That said, If you find a real bug or something that feels genuinely unfair (as in, not a skill issue) - reach out to me. Five updates are already out as you can see in the patch notes, and if something is truly wrong with the game, fixing it is my top priority.
So, fair warning to new players: if you want a game you're good at in the first 20 minutes, this ain't it. If you want the run where your friend finally spells the demon's name with three seconds left and your whole call erupts - that's floor 4 and higher, and you can play it right now.
And if the game already clicked for your group: a review is genuinely the single biggest thing you can do to support the game right now. And tell your friends to do it too.
I'm saying this simply because I love this game, and I really want to keep supporting it for a long time. Otherwise, I wouldn't have cared.
Thank you.
