v0.84.1: Anti-cheat, controller rebinds, stepover buff, performance on Low GFX
Strikers Club v0.84.0

Anti Cheat
Alongside improvements to our server-side anti cheat, we have added a client-side anti-cheat (EAC) to further strengthen the game against cheating.
NEW
- Added the ability to rebind controls on controller
- Matchmaking leave bans. Leaving matches repeatedly results in matchmaking bans.
- If your account is banned, it will now tell you when it expires when logging in
- Created a new "Camera" settings tab, moved some settings there and added "Reduce Motion" which stops camera shake and dynamic FOV
Gameplay
- Buffed the stepover distance from 285 to 400 to provide a small speed boost
- Kicking at the same time no longer combines forces, it will never go faster than the hardest kick
Improvements
- Moved the locker room lights to improve visibility of your character
- Trying to queue while a player in your party is in a match is prevented and tells you who is in a match
- Custom games no longer lock your team, but highlight the team you selected in the lobby instead
- Tweaked the matchmaker to prefer new matches over backfill and better search when your rating is high
- Reduced screen shake while rushing
- Improved (temporary) connection loss handling
- Added a connection warning when you have high packet loss or > 150 ping
Cosmetics
- Added skate helmet
- Added retro long sleeve jersey
- Added Sports Snood
Performance
- On Low graphics, grass is removed completely, boosting FPS a lot for PCs with low specs
Fixes
- Fixed lag spikes occasionally blocking your ability to sprint for the remainder of the match
- Fixed an issue that would prevent you from selecting a team in custom games sometimes
- Fixed several crashes on the client and server
v0.84.1
We launched a bugfix patch soon after this one fixing the following:
- Sprint could get stuck, draining stamina continuously
- False positives caused the anti cheat to kick innocent players (no account actions)
- Kick/dribble charges were unintentionally weaker
- Fixed warmup accidentally contributing to match stats
Ranked: A lot of these fixes and improvements pave the way for ranked. It is the most requested feature and we want to introduce it in a meaningful way by providing a good and stable foundation first. Keep in mind the game has only been out for just over 2 weeks and we are 1 programmer and 2 artists. We are working as fast as we can, which you can see by the multiple updates in this time. More coming soon. Thank you.
