Patch 1.0.2
Hello there!
Three major updates we're rolling out based on your feedback:
- Added a lower-difficulty option. You'll find it in the settings, and as a separate dialog when starting a new game. This mode reduces enemy damage, enemy speed, and cursor speed in QTEs. It can be toggled on or off at any point during the game.
- Added launch parameters for players on weaker hardware. If the game crashes or won't start:
- First, launch the new build without any arguments — this patch may already fix your problem.
- If it won't start, try adding -noprewarm to the launch arguments.
- If it still won't start, try -noprewarm -force-d3d12
- If it still won't start, try -noprewarm -force-vulkan
- Added a console in the rest room where you can read all the notes opened by you or by other NPCs during exploration tasks.
Other fixes:
- Improved Scroll View — fixed a bug where navigating lists with the buttons caused the selection to run off the edge of the screen without scrolling.
- Fixed text and voice-over in places where there were mismatches — around 100 lines in total, mostly small discrepancies between what's said and what's shown on screen.
- Various audio balancing tweaks.
- Fixed a bug from the previous version where door-opening tasks played the wrong sound.
- Simplified the final QTE sequence.
- Fixed a loading bug during the final mainframe sequence.
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions! We're preparing one more small patch that will show your completed paths and the choices you made at the end of the game — you can expect it early next week.
