Playtest Contests

We're one week in to our Sponge Break playtest! 🎉

To celebrate, we're hosting not one, not two, but THREE different contests over in our official Discord server. For each contest, winners will be able to earn a code for our Golden Plunger cosmetic as well as a game key once the game releases (plus some bragging rights in Discord itself).

🎬 CLIP OF THE DAY

Every day for the rest of the month we'll be picking one community-created clip that best captures the essence of Sponge Break. Not the most viewed. The one that *feels* the most like the game. Funny moments, glitches, speedruns and more!

How to Enter:

Option 1:
Join the official Sponge Break Discord server
Upload your video directly to the [c]#clips [/c] channel
Option #2:
Post your clips directly on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
Be sure to tag each post with #SpongeBreak and #SpongeBreakContest

Rules / Reminders:

Clips must be captured by you, directly from the game
Clips will only be considered an eligible entry for the day they're submitted
Multiple submissions are welcome
No inappropriate content or language, please
In-game music preferred

"Clip of the Day" winners will be selected the following day in the afternoon (Pacific Time).

👀 MOST VIEWED CLIPS

The numbers game. Post your best Sponge Break clip, get your audience watching, and let the views do the talking. The three most viewed clips at end of the playtest will win!

How to Enter:

🧽 DISCORD STICKER / MEME CONTEST

Make us laugh. Make us feel something. Make us wish we'd thought of it first! Submit your fan art, screenshots, gifs, and memes for a chance to have it live on forever in the Sponge Break Discord.

How to Enter / Participate:

Join the official Sponge Break Discord server
Post your submissions in the [c]# 🤣 ┋ sticker-contest [/c] channel
Vote on your favorites using react emojis

Rules / Reminders:

Submissions can be formatted as a meme or .png sticker
Submissions can include original art work, in-game screenshots and images, or gifs
Submissions based on in-game capture can be cropped, resized, and blurred, or edited to add on-screen text for meme formats; no other edits are allowed
Multiple submissions welcome
No inappropriate content or language, please
No AI art

Winners will be selected after the playtest period has concluded, and based on community vote!
