Security 51
Future Plans

Attention, agents!

First of all, thank you to everyone who joined us for the shift on launch day!

Over the past few days, we’ve been closely reading all of your reviews, Steam discussions, bug report forms, and Discord messages - both praise and criticism. We see that while many of you enjoy the atmosphere and concept of Security 51, several mechanics, clarity issues, and balance friction have caused frustration.

We hear you loud and clear. We want Security 51 to be the best experience possible, and we’re already working hard to address the main pain points you’ve highlighted.

What We’re Working On Next

  • Adding an option to skip the tutorial on repeat playthroughs.
  • Expanding control options: additional hotkeys and full mouse-only gameplay support.
  • Updating the camera tutorial to clearly explain where and how anomalies can appear.
  • Refining item names and labels in the Rorschach Test to remove confusing associations and make evaluation criteria clearer.
  • Rebalancing late-game mechanics for a better sense of fair challenge.

Additionally, we are exploring ways to make item management on the desk smoother while preserving the core challenge of a limited workspace.

We deeply appreciate all the time you've invested in Security 51 so far, and we are working hard to make your shifts even more engaging.

See you at your post, agents!
