Bringing Order of the Sinking Star to China: Partner Announcements & Tour Recap
CHINA PARTNER ANNOUNCEMENTS
In a recent China press tour for *Order of the Sinking Star*, game director Jonathan Blow, met with Chinese press and puzzle game fans at a special event during this year’s ChinaJoy.
During the event, we officially announced two exciting partnerships for *Order of the Sinking Star* and shared how these partners will support the game's release in China.
**Gamirror Games to Co-Publish *Order of the Sinking Star* in China**: The Chinese release of the game will be co-published by Gamirror Games, a leading independent publisher based in Shanghai. We’re thrilled to work with Gamirror Games to elevate the Chinese release to the highest standard. Together with full regional co-publishing support, tailored platform optimization, and dedicated local marketing, thanks to our partnership with Gamirror Games, we feel confident that we’ll bring Chinese players a deeply tailored, top-tier experience for *Order of the Sinking Star*’s Chinese release!
Full Chinese Voice-Over Support, Handled by Gemiuster/怪物细胞: To go even further in delivering a premium experience for the Chinese release, *Order of the Sinking Star* will feature full Chinese voice-over support brought to life by a talented cast of voice actors. We’re partnering with Gemiuster, one of China’s leading voice production studios, to bring the game's world to life in Chinese with incredible fidelity and polish. The Chinese voice-over recording is officially underway and we’re aiming to have it ready by launch!
From our China press tour alone, it’s clear that Chinese puzzle game fans absolutely can’t wait for the release of *Order of the Sinking Star*. We’re honored to work with Gamirror Games and Gemiuster to make the Chinese version the best it can be!
CHINA PRESS TOUR RECAP
From July 27 to August 2, Jonathan Blow was in Shanghai, China for a massive China press tour -- organized by Arc Games’ Shanghai team and China co-publisher, Gamirror Games! For the tour, Jonathan had a stacked itinerary filled with events, including visiting the Video Game Museum of CADPA, filming a documentary, attending ChinaJoy and giving a presentation at CGDC, having interviews with Chinese and Japanese gaming press -- such as IGN China and 4Gamer -- and even having Chinese puzzle fans check out a new, exclusive demo.
