What to expect in this playtest
With the game’s launch drawing ever closer, we are using this playtest to introduce another of the launch maps; the Đắk Tô Airfield.
Situated in Vietnam's Central Highlands near the borders of Laos and Cambodia, Đắk Tô Airfield served as a key U.S. forward operating base during the war. Following intense fighting vs the Vietnamese troops around nearby Hill 875, the airfield became a vital hub for aircraft, logistics and troop deployments throughout the campaign.
Designed to offer a different pace of combat to what players have previously played on Thanh Hóa Bridge, Đắk Tô Airfield combines close-quarters firefights within heavily fortified military positions, with wider vehicle engagements encouraged by the open airstrip and surrounding terrain. Beyond the base itself, players will also battle through nearby villages, hamlets and jungle, creating a varied battlefield that rewards different tactics and playstyles.
Known issues & feedback
Before the playtest goes live, we'll publish a list of any known issues we're already aware of in this build, as well as letting you know how best to give us feedback post-playing the game this weekend.
Be sure to check our communications before jumping into the action so you know what to expect. This will help you distinguish between known issues we're already working on, and any new bugs or feedback you'd like to report during the playtest.
