The Demo Will Be Removed Before Release

First of all, thank you to everyone who participated in the demo events and helped Fred with all his problems! I hope you had fun completing his tasks, and I really appreciate everyone who joined these events.

The Approximately Up Demo will be removed from Steam shortly before the full game releases on August 6.

The demo has been available for almost six months and was much larger than a typical game demo. Because Approximately Up is a sandbox game, some players were able to spend dozens or even hundreds of hours playing it. In many ways, it worked more like an open beta, helping me discover bugs, collect feedback, test the game on many different computers, and prepare for a smoother full release.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who played it, reported problems, shared feedback, created videos, or simply spent time building and exploring. Your support helped improve the game enormously.

However, the full version has changed significantly since the demo was released. It contains many improvements, redesigned content, adjusted missions, new features, and a much more polished overall experience. Because of this, the Demo no longer represents the quality or current state of the full game.

Maintaining and updating both the demo and the full game would also take a considerable amount of time. As a solo developer, I would rather focus entirely on supporting the full release, fixing any problems that appear, and continuing to improve the main game.

Thank you again for helping make the demo such a successful and useful part of development.

I hope to see you in the full version on August 6!
